Soap manufacturing in aleppo is an acient craft which goes to hundreds of years. Zanabili family is as old as soap manufacturing and the craft goes from father to son and from generation to generation. The family has few factories for soap production in aleppo.
The raw materials of aleppo soap comes from natural oils as olive oil and laurel oil. This handicraft is done by the traditional way of production and depends on hand labour.
Nowadays pressed soap is produced by adding some of natural essence like pine, lemon, and mint oil.
